Champagne is poured as the clock nears midnight on New Year’s Eve at the Occidental Saloon. Glasses were handed out to each patron that wanted one so they could toast at midnight.

An explosion of noise filled the Occidental Saloon at midnight as revelers, like eight-year-old Ruby Peterson, blow noise makers and cheer to welcome the new year. This was Ruby’s third New Year spent at the Ox.
