BHS hosts annual winter band concert
The band at Buffalo High School hosted their annual winter concert on Tuesday night, Dec. 8, 2020 in the auditorium at the high school. The concert is normally held with the choirs but the two groups had to split up this year because of COVID-19 maximum attendance numbers. The concert opened with performances by the percussion ensemble and then the rest of the band was brought out for the concert band performances. Director Jason Bennett described the collection of music as “old time English” in style.

The back walls of the stage were illuminated with alternating red and green lights in celebration of the upcoming holiday that inspired many of the songs chosen for the winter concert on Tuesday. Students were spread from edge to edge as the more than 50 member band spread out to perform their winter concert.
