Jim Verplanke drills new holes

Jim Verplancke, acting assistant field manager at the BLM, drills new holes for the seedlings while Dave Myers, a BLM natural resource specialist, plants and packs soil around new seedlings on Nov. 17, in eastern Johnson County. Everyone spread out over a few different spots to plant a few different stands of the brush in the basin. The planting is part of a restoration project from oil and gas development in the area.
