Four individuals are in police custody after law enforcement officers confiscated a felony amount of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, Oxycodone as well as numerous fraudulent credit cards.

In a press release issued Friday, Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett wrote that Buffalo Police Department officers and Johnson County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a local motel on Jan. 13 in reference to a rental vehicle that had not been returned.

During the investigation, an adult male, an adult female and two juveniles were taken into custody. Several search and seizure warrants were executed on the hotel room and vehicle involved. Those search and seizure warrants resulted in the confiscation of a felony amount of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, Oxycodone as well as numerous fraudulent credit cards. The rental vehicle in question was returned to the proper owners.

"The cooperation between the two agencies was vital in the successful outcome in this case," Bissett wrote in the press release.

This investigation is ongoing.
