The third annual Johnson County Weed and Pest weed pull day was held Friday, June 11, 2021 both in Kaycee and Buffalo as local and state wide organizations drew out community members to assist in the removal of noxious weeds around the county. Participants spread out both to their own locations, if they had ideas, or to a few provided locations like the archery course west of town. Over the course of the day, more than 1,200 pounds of weeds were uprooted and removed from around the county.
