Geraldine Maud Campbell was born on Oct. 11, 1926 in Glendo to Leo and Dortha Lees
Adami. She grew up and went to school in Casper until her senior year when the family moved to Buffalo. She then graduated from Johnson County High School with the class of 1944. After high school she worked as a bookkeeper for her father for a year before she moved to Long Beach, California, to work as a switchboard operator for the phone company. Jerry returned to Buffalo after about a year and continued to work as a telephone operator. She was married on Feb. 2, 1947 in Buffalo to Lee Campbell and they made their home in Buffalo where Lee worked for the US Post Office and Geraldine
stayed at home to raise her young family. Eventually she went to work as a bookkeeper for Wyoming Bank and later for various businesses in Buffalo. Lee passed away in April of 1990 and Jerry continued living in Buffalo until 2004 when she moved to live with her daughter and family.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and several church organizations through the years. She enjoyed her time spent at the family cabin they owned. Jerry liked to sew and play cards. Most of all she loved the time spent with her family.
She is survived by one daughter Cathy Zigweid and her husband Richard of Bountiful, Utah; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Don Campbell, three brothers and one sister.
