Graveside funeral services for Marje Millhouse, 90-year-old Buffalo wife, mother and grandmother who passed away into the arms of God Oct. 4 at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo were held Oct. 14. in Willow Grove Cemetery with Father Doug Wasinger officiating. Donations in Marje’s memory may be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry or the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Marjorie Louise Millhouse was born on Nov. 4, 1930 in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Charles and Cecil Llewellyn. Marje was educated in Wyoming, Montana, Illinois, Washington State and California. She was married on Jan. 24, 1954 in Billings, Montana, to Paul Millhouse and they made their home in Billings where Paul attended Eastern Montana College and Marje worked for Prudential Insurance as an assistant office manager. In 1956 after Paul graduated they moved to Colstrip, Montana, where Paul was a teacher. In 1961 they moved to Buffalo, Wyoming, and she went to work for the Stafford family at Stafford Well Services where she worked for 29 years. This oil and gas well servicing company was like a great big family. Marje retired in 1990 and they continued living in Buffalo. Paul passed away in February of 2014 and Marje lived in Buffalo until her death.

She loved Buffalo and the mountains. Her passion was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Dirk Millhouse of Pony, Montana, and Todd Millhouse of Buffalo; one daughter Sue Reynolds of Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Jayson, Travis, Adam, Carter and Ashley Millhouse, Elliot Reynolds, and Sarah McInnis; and two great-grandchildren Atlas and Lynnox McInnis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister Phyllis Hutchins and one daughter-in-law Debbie Millhouse. In lieu of flowers, Marje would like as an additional memorial, for you to be kind to one another.
