Dear Editor,

A question for Bulletin readers: Have you or your children walked up and down the streets of Buffalo soliciting donations for a cause or selling something for a group? Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, library auction, museum auction (Buffalo and Kaycee), 4-H activities, Girl Scout cookies, ducks for the duck race? Fundraisers for families impacted by fire, accidents or serious illness? Popcorn, candy bars, the list is endless.

All business in our community is small business. They met your requests as a business or personally with generosity. Now it is your turn to step up. Contact a business or two or three who have been impacted. Tell them you wish to purchase a gift certificate – be as generous as you can afford. Certificates may be used for your own benefit, as a future gift for family members or pass them on to older friend or neighbor, a family with children or gift them to a delivery person – the mailman, or whoever has assisted you and your family.

Please pay for them with cash or check. Using a credit card will incur a cost for the business.
