Dear Editor,

What a snowstorm we had over the Thanksgiving holidays and pretty much everything in Buffalo was at a minimum.

That is except for the men and women who were working to keep us safe and alive.

If I forget anyone please forgive me, that is not my intention.

To the Sheriffs Department; Buffalo Police; fire and paramedics; Johnson County Hospital doctors, nurses and staff; WYDOT employees struggling to keep roads passable; the postal service; grocery store employees and gas station attendants who were working so that people could get gas.

This morning WYDOT gave special permission for school buses to operate on rural roads, so a special thanks to all school bus drivers for your hard work and dedication to keeping our children safe.

Thanks to each and everyone of you!

Bill and Carol Charles
