Dear Class of 2020,

Here you are, on the precipice of opportunity. It is my sincerest wish that your vision for the future is also 20/20, that you have a firm plan and a direction for your future. I want you to know that there is greatness in you. That every dream and every goal is achievable. Leave behind the doubts, conquer the fears. It is OK to be scared; courage is the ability to move forward in spite of fear.

Follow your dreams. Do not leave them behind. You have all the potential and all the resources to achieve what you are to become. As a man thinketh, so he becomes. Think big, dream big, and most of all, love big. As you go from here, always seek to build people up instead of tear them down. Leave your mark on this world so that people always remember you with a smile. Remember that not everyone in this life is going to like you that is OK as long as you love yourself.

You are miracles, every last one of you. In all the people before you, and all the people to come after you, there will never be another you. Embrace your rarity, accept your flaws, learn from your mistakes, always be kind and never forget this day.

As you accept your diploma, reflect on those who got you there and thank them for all they have done. As they watch with pride, look out from the podium with gratitude and love.

Remember that we are watching you, and that we pray you become the amazing people we know you can be.
