Dear Editor:

Very recently in the early hours of the morning, an emergency unfolded during a workout for a Buffalo citizen.  911 was called, but someone called on the person in the building that everyone knew was qualified to help immediately. He left his own routine workout and came in an instant. He oversaw critical first response until his EMS team arrived aiding in saving a man’s life as he has done countless times in a long career of emergency care as a first responder. This one had a happy ending. He’s given generations of families a second chance at new priorities. His name is Dave Harness, and we are lucky to have him and his capable team in Buffalo.
