Dear Editor,

From what I can understand from what is going on in Washington, our congresswoman is more interested in cows that may be killed by wolves than children in the country of Yemen whom we as Americans have been complicit in killing starving and allowing to die from diseases brought by war.

In a successful attempt to squash a House Resolution 138, which would invoke the War Powers Act to end all U.S. support for Saudi Arabia’s bloody war, the rules committee slipped in a provision to H.R. 1142 that stopped the vote on this resolution that will mean life or death for many in Yemen.

If it were not so deadly serious, we could joke about “wolves in sheep’s clothing.”
