Dear Editor,

After hiking with Etta on May 16, we were leaving the pond when I ran over an unseen RV license plate and the bolt stuck in my tire. I have a disability and am unable to change my tire. I called Superior Auto and they were sending me help. Probably fifteen cars passed with no one even slowing down while I waited outside my truck with emergency flashers on.

Then, a young man in an older pickup stopped and said, “Sir, is there anything I can do to help you?” I said, “No young man, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your stopping and asking.”

Other cars were behind him so I didn’t get his name. Hopefully he will be reading this and know how his offer made me feel good. Superior Auto arrived, removed the plate and followed me back to the shop. Once again Gary and his staff took care of me.

Thanks to the young man who cared and Superior Auto as well.
