Buffalo High School senior Tessa Taylor laughs as teammate and starter Holland Stowe is announced on Friday night in the BHS gym.

Buffalo High School hosted a loud, energetic home game against Douglas on Oct. 15 as the teams battled back and forth for a full five-set match. The teams traded the lead back and forth, keeping the action and the audience on their toes as the pair reached their final fifth set. The Buffalo student section yelled across the gym, fighting to dominate air space over the rest of the Douglas teams. Ultimately, Buffalo fell just short in a narrow 15-13 loss to Douglas in the last set.

The special Breast Cancer Awareness Month uniforms feature black, white and pink and give libero Cassie Downare a fully pink uniform to wear in place of the normal white.
